Exploring the materiality of fine, waxed linen thread, a strong plant fibre with earthy, slightly roughened characteristics, glass fibre, gold and silver leaf thread, miniature three-dimensional forms were inspired by plant, insect and Hexactinellid forms and explore human interaction with nature. Basketry off loom hand techniques fashioned these small-scale objects, no larger than 20x20x20cm.
